Court Marriage for Overseas Pakistanis

How to prepare documents from abroad, what can be arranged before you land, and which steps require you to attend in person.

Prepare before you travel

Documents can be reviewed before travel so the in-person steps are arranged efficiently once you arrive. Physical-presence requirements depend on the proposed procedure and the facts of the case, and should be confirmed before flights or appointments are fixed.

Usually reviewed in advance

  • CNIC or NICOP, and passport
  • Evidence of present marital status, where required
  • Divorce or death documentation for a previous marriage
  • Any document issued abroad that may need translation or verification

We will tell you plainly which parts of the matter can be prepared remotely and which require attendance. We do not describe online or proxy marriage as a universally available or lawful route.
